For reasons of environmental protection and occupational safety during the transfer of liquids hazardous to water, take care that a coupling system guarantees the following prerequisites :

• The coupling must feature a high degree of safety.
• Coupling and uncoupling must take place quickly and cleanly.
• Product loss during uncoupling must be minimised and/or leakage-free.
• The coupling should be sturdy and durable at the same time, and satisfactory through a compact, maintenance-friendly design.

IfI.technology has developed an API coupling which is used for the bottom loading of tank trucks. This automatic safety coupling works pneumatically and can be delivered as digital control valve for the regulation of the product flow rate on demand.
